The Westmoreland Emergency Operations Plan represents a concerted effort on the part of town government to provide a mechanism for effectively responding to and recovering from the impact of natural or human-caused disasters or emergencies.
The Westmoreland Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a means to reduce future losses from natural or man-made hazard events before they occur. The Plan was developed by the Westmoreland Hazard Mitigation Committee and contains statements of policy adopted by the Board of Selectmen.
Code Red provides public safety notices issued by the State of New Hampshire and severe weather warnings directly from the National Weather Service. Additionally, New Hampshire residents are asked to download the NH Alerts mobile application from the App Store and Google Play to receive emergency and severe weather notifications from state officials.
